What are the benefits of believing in the Four Faced Buddha

What is the Four Faced Buddha (Four Faced God)?

He is known as the Great Brahman Heavenly King and is referred to as the Buddha who answers every request. Originating from Hinduism, it is one of the major deities of Hinduism and also the great protector deity of Buddhism. It is one of the most worshipped gods in Thailand, and is also called the nearest god who is most willing to protect and protect believers. As long as believers sincerely pray from the bottom of their hearts, the Four Faced Buddha will fulfill their wishes, and wearing the Four Faced Buddha amulet will be protected by the Four Faced Buddha for a lifetime. The true Four Faced Buddha's consecration and sitting method has a very systematic inheritance, and the efficacy of the Four Faced Buddha statue is determined by this. The four faced Buddha of Paphonshina, which is famous throughout the country, has been strictly passed down and blessed by nine Thai monks, and many essential sacred materials, Buddha plaques, runes, and talismans have been added to the bottom of the tradition. This precious four faced Buddha of Paphonshina has attracted believers from all over the country to come and worship, make wishes, and fulfill vows. Therefore, the Four Faced Buddha has the functions of being responsive to every request, having high power to fulfill wishes, benefiting from unexpected wealth, increasing popularity and reputation, promoting healthy love, and warding off evil spirits. And it is said that the Four Faced Buddha was originally the Great Brahma Heavenly King. Later, with the birth of the human world, he was sent to the human world together with the King of Lala and the King of Quling to manage different things. The Great Brahma Heavenly King often manages the creation of all things, the King of Lala manages the life and death of all things, and the King of Quling manages the operation of the laws and regulations of all things. Therefore, some people call the Four Faced Buddha the God of Creation. Later, there was a gradual exchange between Indian Brahmins and Indian Buddhism, and gradually the Four faced Buddha was adopted by Buddhists, becoming the Four faced Buddha worshipped by believers today.

And Papengxina is named after the Four Faced Buddha, who is also the deity that Papengxina most believes in, and he always wears the Four Faced Buddha amulet. The selected Four Faced Buddha amulets are even more rigorous, and the master who is blessed must have a formal Four Faced Buddha sect inheritance. They must undergo at least 2-3 consecration blessings and be infused with the power to pray for the Four Faced Buddha to come to the altar and bless, so that each Four Faced Buddha amulet is full of power. Therefore, the spiritual feedback from the Four Faced Buddha amulet wearers invited by Papeng Xina Gong is frequent.

In Thailand, the Four faced Buddha is known as "patting". According to the historical records and legends of Indian Brahmins, the Four faced Buddha originally originated from Indian Brahmins. The Buddha statue has four faces and eight hands, with each face facing in different directions, representing kindness, compassion, joy, and sacrifice. The eight hands hold different ritual objects, which have profound meanings and origins,

For example, books represent supreme wisdom and can be bestowed with the right path and academic achievements.

Prayer beads: representing reincarnation and cultivation.

Gun stick: represents the elimination of all demons and obstacles.

Vase: represents thirst quenching, always ready to meet your needs. Snail shell: represents blessing, wealth, and treasure.

Pressing the chest handprint: represents blessing, peace, and auspiciousness. Falun: represents the elimination of disasters and the conquest of all evil and heretical ways.

Ruyi Bao: Represents good luck in everything and abundant financial resources.

Wearing a body aura of good faith can adjust the best wealth absorption aura, especially at any cost. Many masters work together to activate the light blessing, and the mysterious and unimaginable unique secret method makes this Buddha amulet emit a shining spiritual energy, with full and abundant wealth energy, constantly protecting the wearer from the opportunity to control the flow of money. However, many Mangu Wang stores in mainland China have a mixed bag of feng shui mascots, which greatly reduces their success rate and may not be fully utilized due to their high value. Therefore, the author reminds believers to think twice before purchasing and be careful not to be deceived. Purchasing mascots does not necessarily mean that expensive ones are the best. If you want to purchase authentic Thai Buddhist amulets, it is recommended to personally purchase them when traveling to Thailand.

Four sided Buddha's miraculous case

The Legend of Four Faced Buddha

The Four faced Buddha was first introduced from India. It is said that a businessman, who was struggling to run a restaurant, followed the advice of a master and invited a Four faced Buddha from India to be placed in front of the restaurant. At that time, the surrounding area of the restaurant was not very prosperous The restaurant is also undergoing major renovations at this time Unexpectedly, after the restaurant reopened, business was particularly good, indirectly driving the development of the surrounding area. Afterwards, believers came here every day to make wishes and pray for their wishes It's amazing that so many wishes are fulfilled! Therefore, rumors of the efficacy of the Four Faced Buddha have been circulating Nowadays, countless people go to the Four Faced Buddha every day to pray for various wishes, and there are also many who fulfill them.

Legend has it that one day, a young girl made a wish to the Four Faced Buddha, saying: as long as her wish can be fulfilled, she will perform a classical dance to fulfill it; As a result, the girl's wishes came true, so she came to the Buddha to dance and entertain the gods. The secret that immortals enjoy appreciating dance has spread, and since then, both men and women have used classical dance as a substitute for offering wooden carved elephants when fulfilling their vows. Countless people come to kneel and pray to the Four Faced Buddha every day, and many of them also come to fulfill their vows. Economically affluent worshippers can invite all four pairs of fairies to perform. If the environment is not very good and only one pair of fairies is hired to perform, the Four Faced Buddha will definitely not care.

Each dance lasts for 15 minutes and costs between 300 baht and 800 baht, depending on the number of dancers. But if the restorer requests special dance performances or high difficulty movements, both parties can negotiate separately.

The event of performing nude dance and offering vows in front of the Four Faced Buddha once shook the whole world; A young girl made a vow, saying that as long as she won the jackpot, she would come to fulfill her wish by dancing naked; Later on, she really won the prize as she wished and came to the Four Faced Buddha to dance naked. This big news was hyped up by Thai newspapers, which further spread the message of the Four Faced Buddha. Newspapers around the world have reported on this event. Film and television stars, as well as business tycoons from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other places, are loyal believers of the Four Faced Buddha, and those who come to pay their respects by plane have never stopped. The vow makers who come specifically to fulfill their wishes are even more devout. Many Four Faced Buddha believers who come with tour groups, even if there is no Four Faced Buddha stop on their itinerary, will leave the group and go alone to worship and make wishes to the Four Faced Buddha.

The worship base of the Four Faced Buddha in Thailand

The Four Faced Buddha Temple located in Bangkok, Thailand is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in Thailand, situated at the intersection of Ratchadamri Road and Phloen Chit Road in the heart of Bangkok's Lover's Bay. Adjacent to the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Sogo Department Store, Sogo Department Store is now a large shopping mall in Central World and a famous tourist attraction in Bangkok. In Thailand and Southeast Asia, the "Four faced Buddha" is considered a benevolent deity, so before worshiping the "Four faced Buddha", it is necessary to abstain from meat and eat vegetables to show compassion for animals. Believers prohibit animal abuse in their daily lives.

Every day, many believers from all over the world go to worship or pray. The Four Faced Buddha Altar was built in 1956. It is said that during the construction of the Erawan Hotel (predecessor of the Grand Hyatt Hotel), a series of unfortunate industrial accidents occurred, resulting in the mysterious deaths of many local workers. Therefore, the property owner was invited to inspect and follow the advice of General Luansuwei Canpei. Later, this four faced Buddha altar was built near the construction site to enshrine the four faced Buddha and bless the public in all matters.

Afterwards, the unfortunate industrial accident did not happen again. The hotel was later demolished, but the Four Faced Buddha Shrine has been preserved to this day. Every year, many Chinese believers and Buddhists come here to worship, among whom they are highly respected by Hong Kong people. Believers believe that the Four Faced Buddha is extremely effective. If their wishes are fulfilled after praying, many believers will come back to fulfill them, ensuring that there is no shortage of necessary offerings around the altar. Some even perform singing, dancing, and music themselves or hire people to do so. It is unimaginable to go to Bangkok without worshiping the Four Faced Buddha, just like entering a temple without worshiping the gods.

The concept of Thai people worshiping and yearning for Brahma has a long history. Phram likhid in Thai refers to the number of days, borrowed from Sanskrit, and literally translated as the mark of Brahma. Since ancient times, Thai people have believed that on the sixth day after a person's birth, Brahma engraved their destiny on their forehead. In the traditional Thai culture - Buddhist culture, there is also a foundation for the worship of Brahma. The Indian Brahma faith once spread in the Indochinese Peninsula and had a profound influence on local culture, but later faded away. For over 700 years, the Thai people have been more enthusiastic about worshiping another Hindu deity, Indra.

The power of the Four Faced Buddha

The role of the Four sided Buddha Plaque in Thailand

Wearing Thai Buddhist amulets is quite common in Southeast Asia and Thailand. With the development of Thailand's tourism industry, people are gradually wearing Thai Buddhist amulets throughout Asia. However, why do Buddhist amulets have incredible abilities to help people with their careers, financial luck, social relationships, power, and other incredible powers? I believe not many people know. Now, we will find the source of power behind Thai Buddhist amulets by manufacturing them. In ancient times, the production of Buddhist plaques began with the selection of Buddhist materials, which were all made by high monks one by one. However, nowadays, in order to seek the beauty of the Buddha's appearance, the molds used for making Buddha plaques are mostly made by mold factories. However, the selection of materials and the production of Buddha plaques are made by Buddhist temples, which is what we call the true Thai Buddhist plaques.

Wearing Buddhist amulets can have magical effects, such as warding off evil, blocking danger, helping people's relationships, aiding financial luck, and facilitating marriage... If you want to respectfully ask, you must believe that Buddhist amulets have these effects, because believing in them will have them, not believing in them will have them. The claim that Buddhist amulets have these functions has been passed down for a long time and must have a certain degree of credibility. Moreover, the claim that wearing Buddhist amulets allows one to safely pass through accidents is also frequently heard, making the credibility even higher.

Legend has it that this Buddha is in charge of all affairs in the human world, with different demands on all four sides: seeking prosperous business on the front, seeking happy marriage on the left, seeking peace and health on the right, and seeking wealth and prosperity on the back. The eight magic weapons are: one holding the command flag, representing omnipotent magical power; Holding a Buddhist scripture in one hand represents wisdom; Holding a conch in one hand, bless the world; Holding a bright wheel in one hand, dispelling disasters and demons, and destroying troubles; Holding the whole battle in one hand, intelligence and achievement; Holding a kettle in one hand, the weather is favorable; Holding a prayer bead in one hand, grasping the cycle of reincarnation in the human world; One hand holds a handprint, protecting and blessing sentient beings.

The Four faced Buddha, also known as the Prayers' Buddha in Thailand, is located in front of the Lover's Bay Hotel in the center of Bangkok. It is one of the most popular Buddha statues in Thailand, with groups of worshippers and wish makers coming from all over the world every day in an endless stream. The location of the Four Faced Buddha is in the bustling center of Bangkok, diagonally opposite the famous World Trade Center building. Surrounded by high-rise buildings, the road is densely packed with vehicles, and visitors rub shoulders on the sidewalk, creating a modern metropolis. But amidst the hustle and bustle of traffic, waves of Thai classical music could be heard, and on the empty space beside the four sided Buddha statues on the road, several pairs of girls dressed in ancient costumes were dancing gracefully to the beautiful music.

In front of the Four Faced Buddha, incense, candles, and smoke linger, and groups of devout men and women kneel devoutly. Clusters of flowers pile up in front of the Buddha, representing the sincerity of the worshippers. It is said that the Four Faced Buddha likes to carve wooden elephants and seven colored flower clusters. Therefore, in front of the altar, the piled up seven colored flower clusters and wooden elephants show the strong incense and spiritual power of the Four Faced Buddha. The dancers dressed in classical attire danced gently and gracefully, even though the people around them did not pay much attention to their performance. They continued to dance and dance... because their dance was not for the crowd to see, but for the four faced Buddha, who held the golden throne and ruled the fate of the world.

The belief in the Four Faced Buddha (Brahma the Great) originally came from Brahmins. Brahmans believe that humans and the world were created by Brahma the Great, and that the high-ranking emperors come from the head of Brahma the Great; Warrior, executive class, from the shoulder of Brahma the Great; Middle class individuals come from the abdomen; Poor people come from their feet. After each person is born, their future destiny is drawn on the forehead by Brahma the Great, and no one can change their predetermined life!

The efficacy of the Four Faced Buddha

The Four Faced Buddha, also known as the Buddha who responds to every request, has a comprehensive range of effects, including helping with career, family harmony, physical health, and interpersonal relationships. The Four Faced Buddha is a merciful and responsive deity. There are many legends about him in Thailand, but here we mainly introduce the myths and legends about him in India. In Indian mythology, whenever a wish is made to him, whether it is a "god, demon, or person", he will grant their wishes.

Every aspect of "responsive to requests" has different effects, praying positively for business, career, and oneself, and then clockwise. The second aspect is praying for love, marriage, and family; The third aspect is to pray for windfall wealth and prosperity; The fourth side is praying for blessings, wisdom, health, and children. The Four Faced God is not a Buddha, but a creator of heaven and earth, possessing noble power in the heavenly realm, managing people's wealth and controlling the prosperity and wealth of the human world. He is also known as the God of Wealth in Brahmanism.

It is known from the heavy population that seeking a son in front of the Buddha on all sides is the most effective, and most people who worship and make sincere wishes can be delighted to have a noble son. Making a wish this year will bring joy the following year; When a happy occasion arrives, there must be gratitude, and fulfilling one's vows is even more important.

For those who wear Buddhist amulets, their daily good deeds are also very important. The Buddha's amulet is like a hearing aid, but if it has no ears (for any good deeds), then the effectiveness of the Buddha's amulet's hearing aid is extremely limited. Respecting and offering to monks and treasures is the greatest good deed in Thailand, even the Thai king has to kneel down and show respect to monks and treasures. In China, think about what kind of good deeds are best. The simpler way is to give.

Legend has it that this Buddha is in charge of all affairs in the human world. His eight magic weapons are: one holding a command flag, representing omnipotent magical power; Holding a Buddhist scripture in one hand represents wisdom; Holding a conch in one hand, bless the world; Holding a bright wheel in one hand, dispelling disasters and demons, and destroying troubles; Holding the whole battle in one hand, intelligence and achievement; Holding a kettle in one hand, the weather is favorable; Holding a prayer bead in one hand, grasping the cycle of reincarnation in the human world; One hand holds a handprint, protecting and blessing sentient beings.

Positive prayer (achievements: official position, education, career, etc.)

Second side prayer (marriage: marriage, emotions, relationships)

Third side prayer (wealth: legitimate wealth, windfall wealth, wealth)

Fourth Prayer (Health: Healing, Peace, Family Health, Harmony at Home)

The meaning of the Four Faced Buddha

The four sides represent career, love, health, and financial fortune respectively. Seeking prosperous business on the front, seeking happy marriage on the left, seeking peace and health on the right, and seeking wealth and prosperity on the back. Another theory is that it represents kindness, compassion, joy, and sacrifice. The worship of the Four Faced Buddha is quite prosperous in Thailand, whether in bustling commercial areas or quiet academic regions, large and small Four Faced Buddha altars can be seen everywhere.

From the Chinese title alone, people who have not been to Thailand may think that the Four Faced Buddha is a form of Buddha statue. Even for those who have been to Thailand, as Thailand is a Buddhist country, most pilgrims, especially Chinese, will worship him as a Buddha. In fact, the Four Faced Buddha in Thailand is a genuine Hindu deity. The Four Faced Buddha, also known as Phra Phrom in Thai. PBOM stands for Brahma, Phra is a noun prefix, added before emperors, gods, Buddhas, and revered objects to indicate respect. The Four Faced Buddha, also known as Brahma, is one of the three great gods of Hinduism and the creator god.

The shapes of four faced Buddhas in various parts of Thailand are not fixed. From the number of faces and hands, most of them have four sides and eight hands. In the 3rd and 6th centuries, the form of Brahma in India had already appeared with four sides and four hands, but ancient artifacts from the Indochinese Peninsula show that until the period of the Fallen Bowl in the 6th and 11th centuries, the local people's belief in Brahma was still second-hand, and it was not until the 12th and 13th centuries that it was mostly four sides and four hands. So now in Thailand, besides the four sided and eight handed statues of Brahma, one can also see the four sided and four handed as well as one second-hand design.

Occasionally, one can also see those with five faces and eight hands, which adopt the Indian legend of the five faced Brahma, with four connected heads and one head on top. Legend has it that after creating his daughter Saduba, a clone of Brahma, he became infatuated with Saduba. Saduba felt uncomfortable and often turned to the left, right, back, or flew up to the Brahma. In order to conveniently see Saduba, Brahma, who originally had one face, only grew these four additional faces.

Later, Brahma offended another great deity in Hinduism - the god of destruction Shiva. Shiva burned the top of Brahma's head with the flame emitted from his third eye on his forehead, leaving only four faces of Brahma. Looking at the sacred objects in the hands of the Buddha on all sides, they are also not fixed. Each hand holds different sacred objects, such as scriptures, canes, conches, tridents, kettles, spoons, Dharma wheels, lotus flowers, lassos or spikes, and so on. The sitting posture is basically a semi recumbent posture, which means sitting with one leg crossed, usually with the right leg crossed, and occasionally with the left leg crossed.

Before accepting Buddhist ideas, Brahma held the highest position in the Thai faith. The fifth king of the Sukhothai Dynasty (1238-1438), the first dynasty of the Thai nation, created the "Three Realms Theory," which is regarded as a Buddhist textbook by later generations, based on 30 Buddhist scriptures and local beliefs, to explain the Buddhist worldview to the Thai people in a popular way.

The Three Realms refer to the Desire Realm, the Color Realm, and the Non Color Realm. The Desire Realm has 11 territories, including the Evil Life Realm and the Good Life Realm. The Evil Life Realm refers to the four territories of creatures, hungry ghosts, demons, and monsters in hell, while the Good Life Realm refers to the six levels of the Heavenly Realm inhabited by humans and immortals from low to high. The 16 territories of the realm of colors and the 4 territories of the realm of non colors are both the locations of Brahma. There are many types of Brahma. Brahma in the realm of colors is even happier than immortals. He does not need to eat, drink, or excrete, and his oval shape resembles an unhatched chick nestled in an eggshell. Brahma in the Five Colored Realm has no shape, but rather individual souls or spirits, often depicted in painting as clusters of fire placed on a throne. Although Brahma cannot escape the suffering of reincarnation in the three realms, those who serve Brahma live happily as immortals.

The Indian Brahma faith once spread in the Indochinese Peninsula and had a profound influence on local culture, but later faded away. For over 700 years, the Thai people have been more enthusiastic about worshiping another Hindu deity, Indra. Indra, the god of thunder and war, holds a lower position than Brahma in the Thai concept of the Three Realms, and is only situated in the second realm of desire, higher than humans and the Four Heavenly Kings - the Aritian realm. Indra is one of the main gods of Vedic Buddhism.

The Vedic religion in India later developed into Brahmanism or what is now known as Hinduism by Westerners, with the creation of the god Brahma, the protection god Vishnu, and the destruction god Shiva as its three main gods, while the Indra god was gradually forgotten by the Indians. However, in Thailand, the worship of Indra remains undiminished to this day. When Sukhothai founded the country, the founding monarch proclaimed himself. Perquincy in Tarati. Among them. Because of Tara. Refers to the "Indra God". The name of the current Bangkok Dynasty's Kyoto contains the meaning of the immortal city where Indra resides. The palace where the 9th King Bhumibol Adulyadej resides, Jilada Garden, is named after the garden where Indra God resides. The emblem of Bangkok features the Indra riding deity, Elavan.

Regarding Brahma, it has not been cited as a title by any historical king, but rather by Vishnu and Shiva, which are more commonly found in the titles of kings of the Great City Dynasty (1350-1767). Brahma only appears in some Buddhist historical stories passed down from India. For example, when the Buddha was still a bodhisattva, there was a time when he was disheartened during asceticism. Brahma prayed and encouraged the Buddha not to give up. The most famous is another plot in Buddhist history stories, where after Shakyamuni attained enlightenment, he went up to the heavens to explain the Dharma to his mother. On his return journey, a strange sight appeared in the sky, with three heavenly ladders at the feet of the Buddha. The middle was a gem ladder, and the two sides were silver and gold ladders, respectively. Buddha walked in the middle, while Brahma and Indra walked on both sides to protect him. This scene is often seen in Buddhist holy sites or museums in Thailand, either for sculpture art or painting art, but Brahma is clearly used to highlight the majesty of Buddha, so some people regard Brahma and Indra together as the protector gods of Buddhism.

The worship of the Four faced Buddha in Thailand can be seen as a revival of Indian Brahma worship in Thailand, which began with the establishment of the Four faced Buddha in front of the Lover's Bay Hotel in central Bangkok. The Lover's Bay Hotel began construction in 1951, and accidents frequently occurred during the construction period. Four years have passed and it is still not completed. The hotel management committee has held multiple meetings to discuss solutions to the problem, but is still at a loss. Finally, someone proposed to seek help from Major General Luansu Weicanpei, who is said to have insight one day.

After being entrusted, Major General Luan Suwei came to inspect the hotel and concluded that the problem was that the hotel's name was "Lovers Bay. Too arrogant, and when the ground was broken, he did not do the ritual to seek the consent and protection of the local gods. Although the Lovers Bay statue was the mount of Indra, its status was similar to that of the latter. In view of the fact that the place would become a place where people from all over the world would come and go frequently in the future, Major General suggested that we respectfully invite the god Brahma, who was more powerful than Indra, to sit down. The hotel held the ritual according to the instructions of Major General, and in 1956, the hotel was successfully completed. After opening, the statue of Brahma was immediately cast and placed on the altar in front of the door.

The establishment of the Brahma Shrine at the Lover's Bay Hotel has driven the revival of Brahma worship in Thailand. In this revival trend, the traditional Brahma worship philosophy of the Thai people has changed, no longer believing in the marks of the heavens - Brahma, but hoping that Brahma can help and bring good luck to themselves. According to the legend of the Tai people, Brahma was created by splitting a golden egg in water and dividing himself into two halves, male and female, before beginning to create humanity. Due to the fact that Brahma comes from water, he has a gentle temperament and a heart of compassion, compassion, joy, and renunciation. When people pray to him for anything, they will be granted their wishes. The construction history of the Lover's Bay Hotel has caused a sensation throughout the country with the miraculous power of the statue of Brahma in front of it. Thai people are flocking to worship and seek help. According to the data, foreigners account for 60% of pilgrims who worship Brahma in Lovers Bay.

The increasing number of pilgrims visiting has driven the development of the Four Faced Buddha economy at Lover Bay Hotel. The large shopping malls and hotels around the Lover's Bay Hotel, especially those related to worship! The businesses related to the Four Faced Buddha, such as incense candles, flower garlands, and prayer dance troupes, have become prosperous. The Love Bay Hotel Four Faced Buddha Charity Foundation has also received a huge amount of money, receiving donations of over 100 million baht from pilgrims every year. Over the past few decades, the tremendous spiritual comfort and economic benefits have prompted the construction of Brahma shrines in various parts of Thailand like mushrooms after rain. Nowadays, the Brahma statues we see everywhere in Thailand are basically built in the past fifty to sixty years. The influence of the Four faced Buddha worship in Thailand has also spread overseas, with Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Los Angeles also building Four faced Buddhas for people to worship.

From a certain perspective, many people in Thailand have a greater spiritual attachment to the Four Faced Buddha than to Buddhism. On the early morning of March 21, 2006, a mentally ill young man climbed onto the Four Faced Buddha Altar of Lover Bay Hotel and smashed it with a hammer. He was then beaten to death by angry civilians. The incident caused a sensation in Thailand and attracted widespread international attention. The destruction of the Four Faced Buddha dealt a severe mental blow to people. There are rumors that this is a bad sign, and the national political situation may be turbulent. Vice Prime Minister Chicha Rinasati, who has a high level of theological expertise, refuted that this four faced Buddha sacrificed himself to alleviate the country's disasters. After the destruction of the Four Faced Buddha, people were in a state of panic. After people have calmed down from grief and anxiety, they immediately engage in reconstruction activities. Some donated, some donated gold and other metal materials, and in the end, the unit responsible for casting received far more money and goods than needed to cast a new four faced Buddha.

From the origin of the flourishing worship of the Four Faced Buddha, as well as the motivations and behaviors of its followers, it can be seen that the Thai Four Faced Buddha faith is fundamentally unrelated to Buddhism. However, in its decades long development process, it has been linked to Buddhism. Buddhism and Hinduism have a long-standing relationship. In Buddhist culture, there is more than one Brahma. In the Tripitaka, it is said that parents are the Brahmans of their children, because they have created life and the world for their children. Moreover, if everyone has compassion, compassion, joy, and a selfless Brahman heart, they can also become Brahmans.

Major General Luang So Wee Chanpei said that after the death of the wise King of Bangkok, the younger brother of King IV, Pabin Goh, he was reincarnated as Brahma, and his soul was attached to the Buddha on all sides of Lover's Bay. Therefore, many people examine the Four Faced Buddha in Thailand from a Buddhist perspective, believing that its four faces represent the Four Infinite Minds of Buddhism, also known as the Four Brahman Minds. Furthermore, since the worship of the Four Faced Buddha does not have its own doctrine, anyone of any faith can worship in any way as long as they do not show contempt.

Among the pilgrims, the vast majority believe in Buddhism. According to the research of Thai scholar Niti Yohjoon, although the Four faced Buddha is a god in Hinduism, it is not common for people who believe in Hinduism to go and worship. Most of the people who went to worship the Four Sides Buddhas were Thais and Chinese from Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Chinese Mainland. Most of them believed in Buddhism. Most of these people do not have a deep understanding of Buddhist doctrine. In their beliefs, worshiping Buddha is worshiping God, and worshiping Brahma is a form of worshiping Buddha. Therefore, Brahma is often worshipped by pilgrims in the form of worshipping Buddha. So it can be said that the Four Faced Buddha in Thailand does indeed incorporate elements of Buddhist culture. In addition to the Brahmin ceremony, the Buddhist monks also participated in the Buddhist ceremony for the cultivation of the Four Faced Buddha Altar and the casting and installation of the new Four Faced Buddha in 2006, which is a strong proof.

How to worship the Four Faced Buddha

(1) Four sided Buddha Worship Method

Firstly, prepare the incense sticks (12 in total, 3 on each side) and one yellow candle as tribute for worship. Using seven different colors of flowers represents the highest sincerity, with 1, 3, and 5 fresh fruits being the best. Bring rose essential oil as a tribute before giving it to the mage, and then apply it to the body afterwards! Many people say that in order to save money, they don't buy anything and come directly to worship, but of course it's also possible. But I really want to follow the local customs and experience the local traditions and the powerful charm of the Four Faced Buddha. The steps are to light all the incense first, and then place a yellow candle on the front. I don't think it's important whether you bow first and then bow again, or bow first and then bow again. It's more important to set aside the distractions in your heart. Start bowing from the front and bow to the left side one by one. Every time you bow, you must say a spell, worship words, your birthday, home address, name, etc. to the gods, then state your way of fulfilling your vows, and finally state your wishes.
