Types and effects of Thai Buddha amulets
(1) Five-faced God of Love
The god of love originated in India. He is the incarnation of the three main gods of Hinduism: Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma (the four-faced god in Thailand). It is especially effective to pray to the god of love in love! Many local fortune tellers in Thailand recommend people who have reached a bottleneck in their relationship to worship him, and noble ladies and celebrities also go to worship the god of love to pray for favor and success in controlling their husbands. The five-faced god of love can make business prosperous, make money endlessly, turn misfortune into good fortune, have a premonition of crisis, have good relationships with people, and ward off harm from evil spirits.
(2) The Four-Faced God
The Four-Faced Buddha is a deity of the Indian Brahmanism. He was originally Brahma, one of the three main gods of Brahmanism, and the god who created the heaven and the earth. In Southeast Asia and Thailand, he is considered to be a god with boundless power and who controls the prosperity and wealth of the world. His four faces face east, south, west and north respectively, for believers to pray for blessings. Because of its similar appearance to the Chinese Buddha statue, the Chinese translation is mostly "Four-Faced Buddha", but in fact the Four-Faced Buddha is not a Buddha, so it should be translated as the Four-Faced God to be more accurate. Most people call the Four-Faced God the Four-Faced Buddha, but this is actually wrong. According to the records of Brahmanism and Buddhist scriptures, the Four-Faced God belongs to the gods rather than the Buddha, so it should be called the Four-Faced God or the Great Brahma King, which is more suitable for "Pa Peng". The four faces of the Four-Faced God represent the four directions, and its eight ears are used to listen to different calls for help from all sides.
